About
I started this blog several months before the due date of our first child. I needed an outlet for all the female-centric discussions I was hearing about family and childbirth. I mean, guys have a hand in this, too, right? So I went out and about on the internet trying to find a good blog for dads/expecting dads—I found a few, but not nearly enough.
Couple this with the fact that most dads spend a truckload of time online, and you can understand why we birthed this site. The “Band of Fathers” is a group of dads who aim to make this a destination worthy of a regular visit.
So come here to get some semi-useful knowledge, read product reviews, let out your frustrations (fatherhood frustrations only) or comment on our whackness. Come here so you can tell your wife you spend time on a parenting blog without having to lie. Come here to realize that you aren’t the worst dad in the world. Come here to burn that crippling 3:25 to 3:40 weekday afternoon time slot. Whatever the reason, just come here. Thanks in advance.
